German Mechanical Movement

Clockworks by Hermle: triple chime cable-wind number 1161: Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael.   Automatic night off feature  shuts chimes off @ 10:00 PM & turns them back on @ 7:00 AM.   Click here for  information about clockworks.

Brass Dial

Clock face is in brass with raised Arabic numerals and has moving moon phase feature.  The solid brass dial depicts hour, minute, and second hand.

Clock Design

The Sir Arthur grandfather clock design is pure elegance.  It features classical decorative fluted columns adjacent with hand carvings on the door with curved bevled glass, key and lock. Beautiful Full pediment with additional carvings accenting the rest of the elegent cabinet.  Additional features bombay stye base, elm burel overlays through out the cabinet. Opening side doors for acces to mechanism, and a wonderfull view of the classic german mechanisim.  The interior cabinet light accents the brass weight shells. Cabinet has a mirror highlighting the cabinet elegantly.  Decorative lyre pendulum is 11" wide and made of polished brass.
